After almost 3 weeks in the saddle, our inspirational patron, Peter crossed the finish line on the 29th June in Duncansby Head having bike-camped diagonally across the country. The route was whopping 860kilometres from the Mull O’Galloway.
At 77 years of age, Peter said:
“It was a humongous effort, but worth every turn of those pedals. Especially if you good people all help me to reach the target – enabling The Green Team to engage with Young people with real mental health problems.”
Peter has raised an amazing £2,255 which, with the addition of gift aid, will take the tally to well over £2,500 to support young people struggling with their mental health.
