sharing our volunteering support with Aileen Campbell
Today we presented at an online meeting with Aileen Campbell, Cabinet Secretary for Communities and Local Government. The Green Team was one of six organisations presenting, as recipients of funding through the Volunteering Support Fund. Impact Funding Partners asked us to give Ms. Campbell an overview of how the fund has helped us support our volunteers. We also shared how we adapted this support in relation to the pandemic and lockdown.
Following our presentation, the Cabinet Secretary took questions from the group. This was a wonderful chance for Mandy, our volunteer co-ordinator, to share our concerns and hear first-hand Ms Campbell’s thoughts on the importance of volunteering support in the near future.
