Edinburgh Talks Climate
The City of Edinburgh Council has recently launched Edinburgh Talks Climate which has started a new phase of engagement and collaboration around climate change. They have launched a new challenge aimed specifically at younger people in Edinburgh. They want to know what most concerns young people about climate change in Edinburgh and what changes they think need to happen so that the city can become greener and more sustainable. They are inviting young people to take part in the conversation. A spokesperson at the Insight Unit said:
“We’d also like to encourage young people to send us any new challenges they’d like us to publish on Edinburgh Talks Climate. This could be creating and sending in their own film clips on tackling climate change in Edinburgh or sending in other topics on climate action that they’d like to discuss. Please send these into us at strategyandinsight@edinburgh.gov.uk.”
The Green Team Youth Panel will be discussing this challenge at our next meeting on 1st September. Please email Penny if you would like to join us.
