The Green Team’s Education Officer, Margon, is to provide outdoor activities at Edinburgh Council’s Hub. Over the summer Margon will work with children with additional support needs and will be based at Barnardo’s in Oxgangs. Margon will be using the local woodlands to create mini dens, play hidey and listen to stories about the woodland creatures. This will be a great opportunity for children to discover, explore and play in the local area.
Margon says of the opportunity: “It is wonderful to be getting back to what we do best – sharing our love of the outdoors with young people. I think it will be great for the children and young people to share experiences again in a lovely local setting.”
