11th June: Environmental Education Methodologies & Activities Training
We are delighted to announce the first in a series of regular environmental and outdoor learning training opportunities with The Green Team.
These sessions will be ideally suited to nursery, primary and secondary school teachers as well as youth workers keen to embrace outdoor learning and learning for sustainability.
The first session is running on 11th June at Newbattle Abbey College from 10am to 4pm. In this module attendees will:
- gain insights into a variety of environmental education methodologies
- understand the role of the facilitator in environmental education
- take part in lots of practical outdoor learning activities and learn how to deliver them
- learn how to develop a balanced and effective session plan
