Thanks to everyone who joined us on a bright winter’s day at Duddingston and Bawsinch for our New Year Gathering. There was a real buzz as people re-connected or met for the first time. We planted (and mostly named) over 30 trees at the woodland edge of Duddingston Golf Course, embedding our good wishes and hopes for a bright 2022.

We then settled down for lunch around a small fire at Bawsinch and continued our conversations. Thanks to Afaf from LinkNet Mentoring, one of our new partners. Afaf described and highlighted opportunities for joint working between our two organisations.

This short gathering proved how much we need these outdoor opportunities to connect with each other. We will be planning more of these throughout the year. Everyone went away with a smile on their face and a spring in their step having welcomed the New Year.
