An evening with Peter Wright: Pete’s Pedal, the whole story!
There are so many heart-warming and entertaining stories and tales from Peter’s adventure that we wanted to give you the chance to hear about them first-hand.
On 28th October, 7pm, we will be hosting an online talk with Peter including time to pose all those burning questions. We are asking for a small donation to attend which will be added to Peters fundraising total to support young carers with The Green Team.
And those of you who have been following Peter’s epic journey to cycle the 941km route around the watershed of Scotland will not be surprised to hear that this amazing 74-year old author and adventurer has not only smashed his challenge but raised an amazing total of £4106.25.
Peter completed his challenge on the 11th September, arriving at a foggy Duncansby Head, 24 days after leaving from the Scottish Borders.
This fantastic fundraising effort is going to support young carers to enjoy time in nature with The Green Team, using nature for respite, connection with other young carers, learning new skills and having fun.
