JAS Award Officer
Ruth joined the Green Team in June 2026 to administrate the Join in Award Scheme (JAS). Prior to this she spent 15 years working as a marine environmental consultant, and volunteered with the Holyrood Park Ranger Service, STEM East and the Scottish Geology Trust.
With a background in geology and marine biology, Ruth is very enthusiastic about the natural environment. She is excited to support the opportunities that JAS gives to young people to explore their world and to celebrate their achievements.
In her spare time, Ruth likes to be on a beach or up a mountain, ideally with cake.
