Board Member
Mairéad joined the board in March 2023. She worked as an occupational therapist in the Republic of Ireland before moving to Scotland to pursue a PhD. Mairéad’s doctorate is focused on understanding how teenagers from under-funded communities in Scotland spend and experience their free time.
Mairéad has a background in healthcare, behavioural change and academia and feels privileged to support an organisation that brings such tangible benefits to the lives of children and young people.
