Our Holiday Activity Programmes run over the Easter, Summer and October school holidays and are for young people aged 8-12 years to explore some of Edinburgh and the Lothian’s most amazing wild places. Spend time playing stealth and tracking games, looking in rock pools, going on adventure walks, making bows and arrows, woodland crafts, pond dipping and floating mini rafts down the river.

Activity Programmes are led by Green Team staff and are supported by adult volunteers.

Easter: 3rd-6th April 2023

Summer: 17th-21st July 2023

Autumn: 16th-18th October 2023

Children should bring warm and waterproof clothing, a packed lunch and water bottle. We provide equipment and can supply waterproofs and boots if required. We give full safety instructions for all the activities. Transport is provided by minibus from Tynecastle High School each day leaving at 10am and returning at 4.30pm (subject to covid restrictions and guidelines in place at the time)
