Take part in a day of practical environmental volunteering for you and your team as part of employee volunteering days, team development, corporate social responsibility or offsetting your carbon footprint.
Green Champions offers tailor-made opportunities for events, corporates or other adult groups to take part in environmental challenges – making significant improvements to the countryside through tasks such as clearance of invasive species to enhance biodiversity, maintaining footpaths to improve access and prevent erosion, or tree planting. Tasks available may vary with the season.
Enjoy the satisfaction of making significant improvements to local green spaces and the wider countryside through highly rewarding team volunteering.
Groups will be transported to a wonderful, local greenspace where they will be provided with instructions for the day, given a safety briefing before getting stuck into the task. Groups will be introduced to fire-lighting skills to boil outdoor kettles to ensure a regular supply of refreshments for breaks throughout the session.
Each session is flexible and less strenuous activities can be provided for individuals or as a break from the main task – this could be nature connection tasks, activities focussing on wellbeing or learning wilderness survival skills.

The Green Team will provide personal protective equipment such as waterproofs, gloves and wellies and all the tools and materials needed. We offer transport from central Edinburgh if required and can work with groups of 6 to 60+.
We have recently enjoyed working with staff from BlackRock, Baillie Gifford, Ventient Energy and the Apple Store.
