Becoming a Volunteer with The Green Team - how it works

  1. Contact the Green Team

  2. Leader Form and Information Pack Sent out

  3. Return information to The Green Team

  4. Green Team introduction meeting (1 hour)
    (time for us to meet and talk about your volunteering opportunities and training needs – references also requested)

  5. Paper work completed: Disclosure Scotland Form processed (if appropriate), driving permits completed (if appropriate)

  6. Booked onto next Green Team Induction Training

  7. Sign up to first project

  8. Volunteer Leaders pre-project meeting (evening meeting to discuss project details – time to meet other leaders)

  9. First project as volunteer – observer role (see how we do things)

  10. Feedback Session (how did it go ?)

  11. Continue with next project …. Training and more responsibility as you increase your experience.
