The Opportunities

Projects are tailored to suit the needs of the group.

Team days: A day spent at a countryside site taking part in practical conservation activities and team challenges.

Team residentials: 2 or 3 day projects with comfortable hostel style self-catering accommodation. Residentials afford much greater team building opportunities with the optional team challenge of cooking a meal together. Evening activities may include bat and badger walks, night sky viewing and team quizzes.

Team programmes: A series of consecutive days or a day a week, to build a deeper relationship with a single site. Work towards one big conservation task or take part in a range of different tasks.

What we provide:

Staff: An experienced and qualified leader who will manage the activity safely whilst providing a fun and stimulating day.

Tools & equipment: We provide tools and personal protective safety equipment such as hard hats, safety glasses and gloves.

Refreshments and lunch: We provide tea, coffee and snacks. We can provide lunch on site by prior arrangement or staff can make their own arrangements.

Transport: We can arrange coach or minibus transport at an additional cost. We encourage participants to travel together for both the team spirit and to reduce the detrimental impact that lots of car journeys have on the environment.

The costs:

We offer a sliding scale of charges from £25 to £50 per person per day, depending on your organisation, with a minimum group size of 10.

Accommodation costs £50 per person per night including food.

How to book:

Please get in touch with Penny Radway (Contact Us) at the Green Team to discuss your team’s requirements.
