Penny
Radway Green Team Manager
Penny has managed the
Green Team since 2000. Previous jobs include working as a Countryside Ranger and
an Access Officer for Stirling Council. She studied Countryside Management in
North Wales whilst working as a voluntary officer for the local BTCV. She has
spent many years working in practical conservation and environmental education.

Mandy
Craig Volunteer Co-ordinator
Mandy started with
the Green Team in 2004. Her background is in Countryside Management and she has
also studied a Masters Degree in Human Ecology. Before joining the Green Team
she managed the John Muir Award in East Lothian for 5 years. Mandy enjoys getting
to know people and finding connections. She loves all things natural and solo
time in nature. |
Kate
Hedges Projects Co-ordinator
Kate has been
working for the Green Team since 2002. She loves long walks in the countryside
with her dogs and has a passion for all things living and wild. With a degree
in countryside management, her vision is to empower young people to access and
enjoy wild places. Kate is currently on maternity leave
and her job is being covered by Emily Sanderson. |
Sara
(Raz) Rasmussen Green Shoots Co-ordinator
Sara
Rasmussen (known as 'Raz') joined the team in October 2006, having completed a
B.Ed (Hons) in Physical Education and studied a Post Graduate Diploma in Outdoor
Education. With over 8 years experience of working with groups in the outdoors
Raz is a firm believer in utilising the power of the environment to engage, challenge
and inspire young people. In her spare time Raz enjoys exploring wild places,
relaxing round camp fires and drumming with the Beltane Fire Society. |
Emily
Sanderson, Youth Development Worker & Green Achievers Project Co-ordinator
Emily
started out in Countryside Management and went on to work with adults with disabilities
before studying a Masters in Community Education. Since then, Emily has developed
her skills and experience in social inclusion and youth work. Emily is passionate
about connecting people with their local wild places, engaging young people of
all ages in the outdoors, using fun and approachable methods to allow people to
learn and grow. In her spare time, Emily is usually found on her mountain bike
in the middle of nowhere, exploring all Scotland has to offer in the way of bike
trails. |
